Our Story

Hi, I'm Lauren, the mom behind PocketSpeech USA.

I'm a mother of three (two girls and my youngest, a boy), and like so many parents, our family has moved around a bit over the years — we even briefly called Reno, Nevada home for a while. Through all that moving, one thing stayed constant: trying to find the balance between keeping my kids entertained and keeping them off screens.

That's what led me here. I wanted a way for my own children to learn new words, build vocabulary, and stay curious — without another tablet or app competing for their attention. When I found talking flash cards for toddlers that did exactly that, I knew other parents needed to know about them too.

PocketSpeech USA started as a small family business with one simple goal: to give parents a genuine screen-free learning toy their kids will actually ask for. Every card, every word, every giggle — that's what makes this more than just a toy tome. It's something I use with my own kids, in my own home, every single day.

We're a small team (really, it's mostly just me and my husband!), but we care deeply about getting this right.
